  31.    The big problem is not doing 64-bit arithmetic on a 32-bit
  32. system, it's rewriting all the C code which expects to able to
  33. use simple expressions ("a+b") to do the job, instead of using
  34. functions in some 64-bit math package.  More work than it's
  35. worth (to me, at least).  You're welcome to jump right in, but
  36. the resulting code clutter would probably cause more problems
  37. than it cured.
